SCA faculty is internationally recognized as a leader in research. Most of the SCA faculty members are working artists or artist-scholars. The majority of the faculty are artists, including choreographers and composers as well as filmmakers, lighting designers, visual artists, as well as directors, actors, and dramaturges. The focus of scholarly research is on art history and visual culture, cinema theory, and media. School for the Contemporary Arts is a unique interdisciplinary and intercultural dance program that is designed for today's creative dance artists. Students who are interested in exploring creative and multiple approaches to contemporary composition and movement, as well as expanding their flexibility with the task of reshaping contemporary dance's landscape. The program welcomes those coming from a 'classical', 'modern', or 'contemporary studio education, and those with movement styles that are outside of these codified forms. The studio courses are theoretical training courses that use a wide range of techniques and methods. They also integrate into the courses in composition, improvisation, and collaboration. Our lecture courses follow the same principle: they not only provide historical and aesthetic contexts for critical thinking based on our concept of practice-as-research, but they also allow our students freedom to question those contexts with information from their own socio-cultural backgrounds and experiences. Our program is based on collaboration, so we encourage students to collaborate with other SCA disciplines, including Film, Music & Sound (including Theatre Performance), Theatre Production & Design (including Visual Art), and Art, Performance & Cinema Studies to create new and exciting projects.

Share music. Music is a universal art form. Music motivates and inspires. It lifts our spirits on bad days. It brings back memories and lifts spirits. The importance of music is incalculable. Music is a key component in movies, commercials, and festive environments such as weddings or nightclubs. As musicians, they learn to focus on their goals and to be precise. Our goal is to connect us all into one musical system, a complete echo. Our community is open to all levels of development, regardless of age or whether it's your first instrument or you run a record label or independent music company. Our goal is to create a space where people can connect, learn and grow. We want to help our musicians succeed by giving them the platforms to shine and educating them so they know how to be themselves. Also, we provide meaningful support as they start or revitalize their career. They will then find the help they need in order to concentrate on what they do best, which is to share their music. Music lessons are progressive and should use a variety of teaching techniques. We also make sure to incorporate the latest learning materials. Computer programs, audio, and video files are often used to help students retain information from lessons. Music is an integral part of our lives. The benefits of spontaneous music are limitless, whether it is in a public concert or a family evening. We believe it's important to stop performing at only one or two formal recitals in order to practice playing more freely. There are many ways to perform with Opus, including recitals and open mics.
